Chief Finance Officer (CFO) – Contract – Munster

About the role

We are looking for a senior finance professional to deliver CFO services to ambitious private businesses in the Munster area. You will work with owners and senior leaders to help them achieve growth, acquisitions, or lifestyle goals while enjoying the flexibility of a self‑employed model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide part‑time CFO services to private companies with turnover of £2‑50 M, supporting owners in strategic financial planning and execution.
• Build and manage a portfolio of client engagements, delivering high‑quality financial advice and reporting.
• Collaborate with the Regional Director and a global network of CFOs to ensure consistent service standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor, developing long‑term relationships with CEOs, founders and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with proven CFO/Finance Director experience.
• Strong commercial finance and business‑strategy expertise, with a track record of helping mid‑size companies grow.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills and a proactive, self‑starter attitude.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative, family‑oriented team environment.
