Civil Foreman – Lead Site Operations

About the role

Wills Bros Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead day‑to‑day operations on high‑profile civil engineering and structural projects across the South East region of Ireland. You will ensure that works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site teams, including direct labour and subcontractors.
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities in line with project programmes.
• Liaise with Project Managers, Engineers and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery.
• Monitor workmanship, verify compliance with drawings, specifications and quality standards.
• Enforce Health & Safety requirements, conduct risk assessments and maintain a safe environment.
• Manage site resources such as materials, plant and equipment efficiently.
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively to minimise delays.
• Maintain accurate site records and reporting.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Foreman on large‑scale civils/structures projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil engineering and structural construction methods.
• Excellent understanding of Irish Health & Safety legislation.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Full clean Irish driving licence.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
