Clinical Trainer / Training Manager – Dublin

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Trainer / Training Manager to lead and standardise clinical training across multiple residential care sites in Dublin. The role will work closely with nursing directors and operational teams to ensure compliance with HIQA standards and deliver high‑quality learning programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver and manage mandatory training programmes including Manual Handling, Safeguarding, and Health & Safety.
• Standardise induction, training, and competency frameworks across all sites.
• Collaborate with Directors of Nursing and PICs to ensure full compliance with HIQA standards.
• Conduct training needs analysis and support the development of annual training plans.
• Develop and update training materials, onboarding content, and learning resources.
• Coordinate internal and external training delivery across the group.
• Maintain accurate training records and compliance documentation.
• Produce regular reports and training metrics for senior leadership.
• Evaluate and continuously improve training programmes.
• Support HR and operational teams in embedding training and development initiatives.

Required profile

• Clinical or healthcare background (nursing desirable).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in healthcare training or clinical education.
• Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and residential care regulations.
• Relevant training certifications (Manual Handling / Patient Moving & Handling Instructor preferred).
• Recognised Basic Life Support (BLS) Instructor qualification.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
• Highly organised with strong stakeholder management ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital learning platforms.
