Cloud Platform Lead – Hybrid – Dublin

About the role

We are seeking a Cloud Platform Lead to own and evolve the cloud infrastructure behind our multi‑cloud SaaS platform. Based in Dublin with a hybrid schedule (two days in the office), you will guide a small engineering team while staying hands‑on with technology to ensure reliability, security and cost efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support a small cloud/platform engineering team.
• Own reliability, availability and performance of infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Drive infrastructure automation using infrastructure‑as‑code and modern cloud engineering practices.
• Strengthen monitoring, observability, alerting and incident response.
• Assist engineering teams with deployment pipelines, release management and cloud architecture best practices.
• Optimize cloud costs, enforce governance and improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Proven experience in cloud, platform, infrastructure engineering or DevOps.
• Hands‑on production experience with AWS and/or Azure.
• Experience with infrastructure‑as‑code, CI/CD, automation and observability tools.
• Strong understanding of cloud security, resilience and compliance environments.
• Track record of leading technical delivery, mentoring engineers or managing a small technical team.
