Commercial Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a highly motivated Commercial Finance Manager to join Daon's Finance team in Dublin. This full‑time on‑site position supports global sales teams, ensures accurate revenue recognition and provides insightful reporting to drive commercial planning and growth.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze historic financial performance to identify trends, variances and improvement opportunities.
• Maintain and monitor performance against forecast models and budgets, highlighting key deviations.
• Lead price‑list maintenance, competitor tracking and pricing committee activities.
• Provide finance input for tender responses, pricing questions and commercial contract reviews.
• Review internal accounting reports and ensure correct application of revenue‑recognition policies.
• Collaborate on monthly reporting cycles, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Utilise Snowflake, Tableau, Co‑pilot and Salesforce (Certinia) for analytics and reporting.
• Support ESG reporting preparation and monitor evolving ESG regulations.

Required profile

• Excellent understanding of commercial sales contracts and revenue‑recognition principles.
• Broad accounting knowledge across a busy, global finance function.
• Commercially minded, analytically strong and able to interpret complex data.
• Proactive, self‑motivated with a track record of taking ownership and delivering improvements.
