Commercial Pricing Analyst

About the role

This commercial pricing analyst position sits at the heart of the pre‑sales process for an international services business in North Dublin. You will build bottom‑up cost models that support competitive tenders, bids and client solutions, directly influencing how the company wins work.

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed, bottom‑up cost models covering labour, materials, overheads and mobilisation costs.
• Partner with sales and operations to develop solution‑led cost models for tenders, RFPs and retentions, often to tight deadlines.
• Conduct sensitivity and scenario analysis (labour productivity, inflation, risk assumptions).
• Validate cost assumptions with operational stakeholders and support business cases and commercial submissions.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of pricing tools, templates and methodologies.

Required profile

• Approximately 5 years' experience in financial analysis, cost modelling, pricing or a related commercial role.
• Strong financial modelling abilities and excellent Excel skills.
• Experience developing and optimising cost structures and pricing models.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills to present complex information clearly to varied stakeholders.
