Compliance Assurance Analyst – Dublin

About the role

Remitly is seeking a Compliance Assurance Analyst to join its Second Line Assurance team for Remitly Europe Limited (REL). Based in Dublin, you will work directly with the Central Bank of Ireland regulatory framework, leading assurance engagements that evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls across compliance and operational risk.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end second line compliance assurance engagements for REL, from scoping and planning through fieldwork and reporting.
• Design and execute risk‑based test procedures, including sample‑based control testing, process walkthroughs, and documentation reviews.
• Perform root‑cause analysis on control gaps and develop practical, risk‑aligned remediation recommendations.
• Prepare engagement deliverables such as scope documents, test plans, workpapers, findings memos, and final assurance reports suitable for senior management and regulator review.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of REL’s obligations under the Central Bank of Ireland framework.
• Collaborate with business owners, Compliance, Legal, Risk, and other cross‑functional partners to ensure findings are clearly communicated.

Required profile

• Experience leading assurance or audit engagements within a regulated financial services environment.
• Strong understanding of Central Bank of Ireland regulatory expectations.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
