Construction Site Manager – Main Contractor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Construction Site Manager to lead on‑site delivery of medium to large‑scale projects for McKeon Group & Hereworks. The role combines strong technical knowledge with digital fluency, ensuring quality, safety and productivity throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations from commencement to completion.
• Ensure all work meets the highest quality standards and complies with health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and logistics.
• Implement and monitor construction programme milestones and communicate sequencing to the Project/Contracts Manager.
• Maintain daily records, reports, site diaries and communications using Procore.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and safety meetings in collaboration with the Health & Safety team.
• Drive digital workflows, including BCAR documentation, snagging, commissioning and hand‑over processes.
• Mentor junior personnel, apprentices and subcontractor teams and promote continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing medium to large construction projects on site.
• Strong technical background with a focus on quality and safety.
• Digitally fluent and comfortable using construction management software.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage subcontractors effectively.
