About the role
The teaching hospital is seeking two qualified Consultant Anaesthesiologists for immediate vacancies. These are public‑only consultant locum contracts, offering the chance to work in a dynamic academic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anaesthetic care for surgical and procedural patients.
- Supervise and mentor junior anaesthetic staff and trainees.
- Participate in teaching activities and clinical audits within the hospital.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
Required profile
- Appropriately qualified medical doctor with specialist training in anaesthesiology.
- Registered with the relevant medical regulatory body.
- Experience at consultant level or equivalent senior clinical experience.
- Willingness to work on a locum basis in a public hospital setting.
