Consultant Microbiologist

About the role
The position is a temporary consultancy for a qualified microbiologist within the Irish health system. The successful candidate will provide expert microbiology advice and support to clinical teams while meeting professional registration standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver microbiology consultancy services on a temporary basis.
- Ensure all work complies with the Specialist Division registration of the Medical Council of Ireland.
- Collaborate with clinicians and laboratory staff to interpret microbiological results.
- Maintain high standards of laboratory practice and infection control.
Required profile
- Registered specialist in the Specialist Division of the Register of Medical Practitioners, Medical Council of Ireland.
- Qualified microbiologist with relevant clinical experience.
- Available for a temporary assignment.
