Content & Social Media Executive

About the role

The Content & Social Media Executive will support the Marketing Manager in creating and delivering engaging digital content for City Education Group’s brands, including Ashfield College and City College Dublin. This hands‑on position focuses on capturing authentic campus moments and telling the stories of students, staff, and alumni across social platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media and content strategies for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and other channels.
• Capture, film, edit and publish high‑quality photography and video showcasing classes, events, graduations, open evenings and student life.
• Build relationships with students, lecturers and staff to generate authentic content.
• Plan and maintain content calendars, ensuring consistent on‑brand messaging.
• Monitor performance analytics and provide optimisation recommendations.
• Support creation of brochures, newsletters, website copy and other marketing materials.
• Assist with integrated campaigns, PR activities, brand initiatives and event‑day marketing support.
• Stay updated on social media trends relevant to the Irish education sector.

Required profile

• Degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, Journalism or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of experience in content creation, social media management or marketing.
• Energetic, creative self‑starter with strong visual instincts.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work independently.
