Contracts Manager

About the role

Cunningham is a leading construction company operating across the UK and Europe. We are looking for an experienced Contracts Manager to join our high‑performing team in Dublin and help deliver complex construction projects on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and programme projects to ensure site teams can deliver without delays.
• Manage procurement and material reconciliation in line with company procedures.
• Ensure site compliance with commercial policies and contractual obligations.
• Lead tender hand‑over and pre‑start meetings with the site team.
• Develop and monitor commercial plans and end‑of‑life forecasts monthly.
• Produce progress reports, cost updates and forecasts.
• Implement risk management processes and review risk registers.
• Chair internal and external meetings and record actions accurately.
• Oversee health, safety and environment standards and allocate H&S responsibilities.
• Maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors and regulatory bodies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience managing construction projects within a Tier 1/2 contractor environment in the UK/Ireland.
• Strong knowledge of contract conditions, CDM regulations, design management, programme and risk management, and cost control.
• Experience with pre‑qualification and tendering processes for multi‑discipline projects.
• Minimum education to HNC/HND/Degree level or equivalent.
• Experience delivering large‑scale residential developments is desirable.
