Credit & Collections Analyst – Bilingual (English/Spanish)

About the role

FMC Corporation is seeking a Credit & Collections Analyst to support its EMEA operations from Cork, Ireland. The role combines credit risk assessment, collections management, and cash forecasting while working closely with regional commercial and finance teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customer credit risk, perform financial analysis and review credit limits for new and existing accounts.
• Monitor accounts receivable ageing, issue statements and follow up on overdue balances.
• Conduct collections activities, negotiate payment plans and maintain professional customer communication.
• Identify, escalate and help resolve billing, pricing and dispute issues with internal stakeholders.
• Reconcile cash payments, support cash application and perform remittance analysis.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly AR reports, ensure SOX controls and provide cash forecasts.
• Lead monthly governance calls with regional partners to discuss AR performance and risks.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support audit requirements.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in credit, collections, credit control or a finance‑related role.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret financial statements (P&L and Balance Sheet).
• Proven collaborative mindset in a customer‑focused, cross‑functional environment.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Finance qualification or equivalent experience is preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Solid skills in Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
