About the role

Join Boots as a Customer Assistant, an entry‑level role ideal for those starting their career or looking for a new challenge in retail. You will work on the shop floor, at the tills or in the back‑of‑house, supporting customers and ensuring smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers by answering questions, providing product advice and recommending items.
• Promote in‑store offers and schemes to maximise customer information.
• Operate tills and handle transactions efficiently.
• Maintain product displays and ensure appropriate stock levels on the shop floor.
• Keep the store clean, tidy and presentable at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver a great shopping experience.

Required profile

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, varied environment.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Team‑oriented attitude and collaborative mindset.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Desire to represent the Boots brand positively.
• Experience in customer care is a plus but not essential.
