Customer Assistant – Permanent (20-25 hrs) – Parnell Street

About the role

Join Tesco as a Customer Assistant on Parnell Street, working 20‑25 hours per week in a permanent position. You will be the front‑line face of the store, helping customers find what they need and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Put the customer first in every interaction and provide friendly, proactive service.
• Maintain product availability on the shop floor and in back‑of‑house areas.
• Handle all merchandise with care to preserve quality and presentation.
• Keep the shop floor and back areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
• Follow department routines, company policies and health‑and‑safety procedures.
• Support colleagues by assisting in other departments when needed.

• Enthusiastic, natural customer‑service attitude with a smile.
• Hard‑working, reliable and punctual.
• Ability to prioritise tasks to benefit customers and the team.
• Adaptable and resilient in a fast‑changing retail environment.
• Capable of following verbal and written instructions.
