Customer Service Assistant – Hartstown

About the role

You will provide an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail betting environment, supporting the Shop Manager and team to ensure smooth store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations.
• Open and close the shop, manage the team and oversee cash‑handling procedures when senior managers are absent.
• Accept and process customer bets through betting terminals and the EPOS system.
• Act as a brand ambassador, introducing customers to multi‑channel and digital betting options.
• Maintain high shop presentation standards and ensure compliance with safety and social‑responsibility policies.
• Promote in‑shop and online product offerings.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with strong integrity.
• Flexible to work a 7‑day schedule and adapt to a retail environment.
• Excellent attention to detail, numeracy and cash‑handling skills.
• Enthusiastic, able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in sports and betting, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Ambitious, results‑driven and eager to progress within the company.
