Customer Service Assistant

About the role

You will join a busy retail shop in Kinnegad, delivering a friendly and knowledgeable experience to customers. The position supports the Shop Manager in daily operations, including opening and closing the store, cash handling, and promoting the brand’s multi‑channel betting services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with day‑to‑day shop operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash, process bets, and operate the EPOS system and betting terminals.
• Maintain high presentation standards and ensure safety and compliance protocols are met.
• Act as a brand ambassador, introducing customers to in‑shop and online betting products.
• Step in to lead the team in the absence of senior managers.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with a trustworthy and integrity‑driven approach.
• Flexible to work a 7‑day schedule and adapt to a fast‑paced retail environment.
• Strong attention to detail, numeracy, and reliable cash‑handling skills.
• Enthusiastic, people‑focused and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in sports and betting, with a desire to progress within the company.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPOS systems.
