Customer Service Assistant – Retail (Kilkenny)

About the role

You will deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment, supporting the Shop Manager and team in daily operations. The role combines front‑of‑house service, cash handling and occasional shop management duties.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with day‑to‑day shop operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash, process bets and transactions via EPOS and betting terminals.
• Maintain high presentation standards and compliance with safety and social responsibility policies.
• Act as a brand ambassador, introducing customers to multi‑channel and digital offerings.
• Step in to lead the team in the absence of senior managers.

Required profile

• Customer‑service oriented with strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Trustworthy, adaptable and able to work 7‑day weeks.
• Enthusiastic, reliable and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in sports and betting, with a desire to progress within the company.
