Customer Service Assistant – Retail (Mitchelstown)

About the role

You will deliver an outstanding customer experience in a busy retail environment, supporting the Shop Manager and team to keep the store running smoothly. The role involves handling bets, managing cash, and acting as a brand ambassador for our multi‑channel betting services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with day‑to‑day store operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash, process bets through EPOS systems and betting terminals, and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain high presentation standards and ensure compliance with safety and social responsibility policies.
• Step in to lead the team in the absence of senior managers.

Required profile

• Customer‑service focused with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Flexible to work a 7‑day schedule.
• Strong numeracy, attention to detail and ability to stay calm under pressure.
• Interest in sport and betting, with a desire to build rapport with customers.

Required skills

• Experience with cash handling.
• Proficiency in using EPOS systems.
• Ability to operate betting terminals and process transactions accurately.
