Customer Service Assistant – Retail (Thurles)

About the role

You will join the Thurles shop team to deliver an outstanding customer experience in a fast‑paced retail environment. Working closely with the Shop Manager, you will help run day‑to‑day operations, accept and process bets, and act as a brand ambassador for the company’s multi‑channel betting services.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Shop Manager and Assistant Manager with daily store operations.
• Open and close the shop, ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Manage cash handling, including accepting bets and processing payments via EPOS and betting terminals.
• Maintain high standards of shop presentation and compliance with safety and responsible gambling policies.
• Guide and support the shop team in the absence of senior managers.
• Promote the company’s digital betting journey and provide knowledgeable advice to customers.
