Customer Services Assistant – US Market (Hybrid)

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Services Assistant to be the first point of contact for our customers in the US market. You will work in a hybrid setting, supporting order processing, handling enquiries and helping to resolve any issues that arise. This role offers the chance to work for a dynamic Irish SME with an international reach.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with wholesale order placements, returns, exchanges, and cancellations.
• Respond to customer queries via phone and email, including order tracking, damages, wrong orders and stock issues.
• Address customer concerns and complaints, offering solutions or escalating when necessary.
• Provide detailed product, pricing and policy information to customers.
• Maintain accurate customer records and document service requests in the database.
• Collaborate with sales representatives and other departments to ensure optimal service.
• Open new accounts and research potential retail stores.
• Follow up on service requests to ensure timely resolution.
• Travel to and work at US (or international) trade shows once or twice a year for a week.
