Customer Support Associate

About the role

Squarespace is looking for a Customer Support Associate to join its 24/7 Customer Operations team. This remote position will involve handling live‑chat and email inquiries, helping users resolve account, billing, domain, and other transactional issues while representing the brand positively.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to live‑chat and email requests, with live chat accounting for about 90% of interactions.
• Troubleshoot and guide customers through account, billing, domain, and related queries.
• Meet quality, productivity, and satisfaction targets independently.
• Stay informed on new product features and updates.
• Identify and escalate isolated customer experiences that require further attention.

Required profile

• Open availability for a 40‑hour week, including weekends and holidays.
• At least 1 year of customer‑facing experience in retail, hospitality, or online support.
• Strong written communication skills with attention to spelling and grammar.
• Ability to decode conversations, prioritize requests, and stay focused in a distraction‑free home office.
• Reliable Wi‑Fi and a dedicated workspace.

Required skills

• Familiarity with the Squarespace platform.
