Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

The Cyber Security Analyst will join the security team to monitor alerts, investigate threats, and support incident response. This role works closely with IT teams to ensure the organization’s systems remain protected against emerging vulnerabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and investigate potential threats.
• Identify and report security vulnerabilities.
• Support incident response and remediation activities.
• Review system logs and security events.
• Assist in implementing security policies and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT teams to resolve security issues.
• Conduct security assessments and risk analysis.
• Maintain security documentation and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in cyber security or information security.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of network and system security.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools and security monitoring.
• Understanding of firewalls, antivirus, and endpoint security solutions.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools.
• Knowledge of AWS or Azure security (preferred).
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as ISO 27001 or NIST (preferred).
• Basic scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash (preferred).
