Data Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our Data Intelligence team in Ireland. Reporting to the Director of Data Intelligence, you will turn internal and external data into actionable insights that drive operational efficiency across the fleet business.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse large, complex datasets to solve fleet‑related business problems such as optimal vehicle holding time, reducing out‑of‑service periods and identifying drivers of vehicle damage.
• Provide data‑backed recommendations to senior decision‑makers to influence strategy and performance.
• Integrate and curate data from multiple internal and external sources to produce detailed reports.
• Create clear visualisations using tools like Tableau to communicate findings to technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science).
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience as a Data Analyst.
• At least 2 years of experience working with Databricks or an equivalent platform.
• Strong problem‑solving and critical‑thinking abilities with a proven track record of delivering simple, logical solutions to complex issues.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL proficiency.
• Experience with structured and unstructured data.
• Data visualisation expertise, preferably Tableau.
• Familiarity with Databricks.
• Python scripting (nice to have).
