Data Privacy Paralegal

About the role
Our client, a leading multinational technology company, is looking for a Data Privacy Paralegal to support its privacy team in Dublin. The role is hybrid, requiring presence in the office 1‑2 days per month, and starts as a six‑month fixed‑term contract with the possibility of extension. You will work closely with the Data Protection Officer and cross‑functional teams to help ensure GDPR compliance across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and respond to GDPR data subject rights requests, including the right to erasure.
- Support day‑to‑day data privacy and GDPR compliance activities.
- Collaborate with the DPO, privacy team and internal stakeholders to handle privacy matters in a timely and compliant manner.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of privacy requests and compliance processes.
- Assist with ad‑hoc data privacy and regulatory matters as required.
Required profile
- Previous exposure to data privacy or GDPR matters.
- Experience in a data privacy advisory role within a law firm or technology company is preferred.
- Legal background as a Paralegal or similar legal professional.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- IAPP certification (CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT) is desirable, or a genuine interest in obtaining one.
