About the role
Our customer, a leading multinational technology company, is seeking a Data Privacy Paralegal to join its privacy team on a six‑month fixed‑term contract with strong potential for extension. This role offers hands‑on experience supporting GDPR compliance in a fast‑paced, global environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and respond to GDPR‑related data subject rights requests, including the right to erasure.
- Support day‑to‑day data privacy and GDPR compliance activities.
- Collaborate closely with the Data Protection Officer, privacy team and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant handling of privacy matters.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of privacy requests and compliance processes.
- Assist with ad‑hoc data privacy and regulatory matters as required.
Required profile
- Previous exposure to or experience in data privacy or GDPR matters.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders.
- Interest in obtaining an IAPP qualification (CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT) is desirable.
