Data Reporting Analyst (Hybrid, Kilkenny)

About the role

We are looking for a Data Reporting Analyst to join a growing financial services organisation in Kilkenny. The role is hybrid, with one day per week in the office, and focuses on building and enhancing reporting solutions that support commercial, finance, risk and compliance functions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain business‑critical and regulatory reports using Excel, SQL and Power BI.
• Validate, analyse and interpret large data sets to respond to stakeholder reporting requests.
• Automate reporting processes and contribute to ongoing business and system projects.
• Collaborate with finance, risk, compliance and commercial teams to ensure data accuracy and relevance.

Required profile

• 1–2 years of experience delivering reporting solutions in financial services, banking, lending, asset finance or consumer finance.
• Strong analytical mindset with a passion for problem‑solving and process improvement.
• Ability to work independently and support cross‑functional projects.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data visualisation).
• SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Power BI for dashboard creation and reporting.
