Data Visualisation Analyst

About the role

The Analytics Lab at Ardonagh Group is seeking a Data Visualisation Specialist to design, develop, and maintain Power BI reporting solutions. You will transform complex business data into clear, actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions across the insurance portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build intuitive, performance‑focused Power BI dashboards and interactive visualisations.
• Translate business requirements into effective reporting assets, including measures, filters, drill‑downs and navigation journeys.
• Develop and optimise Power BI semantic models and robust DAX calculations.
• Manage Microsoft Fabric and Power BI Service workspaces, deployments, refreshes, and security controls such as Row‑Level Security.
• Collaborate with UI/UX teams to apply branding and design standards.
• Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, support UAT, handle change requests and produce technical documentation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Power BI professional with a strong focus on data storytelling.
• Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and DAX development.
• Ability to design scalable, high‑performing reporting solutions while ensuring data accuracy and security.
• Experience working closely with business stakeholders to translate needs into visual insights.
