Daylight and Sunlight Analyst

About the role

3D Design Bureau (3DDB) is expanding its daylight and sunlight consultancy team in Ireland. The Daylight and Sunlight Analyst will join a highly skilled group delivering assessments and reports that influence building design and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Review, manage and work with Revit 3D models supplied by the internal modelling team.
• Conduct daylight and sunlight analyses following industry guidelines and 3DDB methodologies.
• Extract, collate and interpret data from assessments to support design decisions.
• Communicate findings and advise clients, in‑house designers and third‑party consultants.
• Create visual assets using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign for inclusion in reports.
• Prepare clear, professional written reports.

Required skills

• Fluent oral, aural and written English.
• Relevant 3rd‑level diploma or degree (AEC sector preferred).
• Minimum 2 years experience in daylight and sunlight analysis and report writing.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and Autodesk CAD.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Advanced knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop.
• Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings with strong 3D spatial awareness.
