Deli Assistant (Full-time)

About the role

Centra is looking for a friendly and reliable Deli Assistant to join its Termonfeckin store. You will be responsible for preparing high‑quality hot and cold deli products while ensuring that every customer leaves satisfied.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders across all fresh‑food areas, including sandwiches, rolls, hot dishes and sliced meats.
• Cook, assemble and display deli items throughout the day, following portion‑control and food‑safety standards.
• Maintain the counter and display areas to the highest visual standards at all times.
• Share product knowledge, recipes and personal recommendations with shoppers.
• Handle customer queries efficiently and professionally in line with store policy.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills and a passion for food.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment and multitask under pressure.
• Previous customer‑service experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• HACCP training is desirable, though not essential.
