Despatch Operative – Day Shift

About the role

We are seeking motivated Despatch Operatives to join our busy department and help meet continuous production targets. The role is day‑shift based, involving the efficient and accurate preparation, organisation, and dispatch of products.

Key responsibilities

• Pick orders and load/unload lorries as required.
• Follow the company Standard Operating Manual and HACCP regulations.
• Maintain a clean and safe workplace, adhering to uniform and personal hygiene standards.
• Handle manual tasks in chilled environments and stand for long periods.
• Be flexible to transfer to other duties within the business unit when needed.

Required profile

• Effective written and spoken English communication.
• Previous stores or despatch experience (essential).
• Right to work in Ireland.
• Ability to perform manual handling, work in chilled conditions and stand for extended periods.

Required skills

• Forklift operation.
• Powered pallet truck operation.
