Digital Solution Engineer - Azure Platform, French Speaking

About the role

Join Microsoft as a Digital Solution Engineer – Azure Platform, supporting mid‑market customers across the Azure application and data platform. In this technical sales role you will help customers move beyond lift‑and‑shift, re‑platforming their application estate onto the most suitable Azure destination and data service.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical sales through architecture design sessions, demos, proofs of concept and modernization accelerators.
• Assess customer application portfolios and recommend the optimal Azure application and data platform, providing a defensible rationale on cost, scale and developer velocity.
• Lead application modernization workshops and migration assessments covering Azure App Service, Container Apps, AKS, Azure SQL and open‑source databases.
• Collaborate with engineering, partners and product teams to resolve technical blockers and feed customer insights back into the product.

Required profile

• Strong curiosity and passion for infrastructure, applications and AI‑driven modernization.
• Ability to evaluate workloads on operational model, scale, cost, compliance and developer velocity and to recommend the appropriate landing zone.
• Experience working with mid‑market customers and influencing architectural decisions.

• Containerization, Kubernetes orchestration, cloud migration frameworks (6R: rehost, replatform, refactor, rearchitect, rebuild, replace).
