Director, HR Business Partner Consulting & Solutions

About the role

LinkedIn is seeking a senior HR leader to head the HR Business Partner Consulting & Solutions team in Dublin. The Director will shape the regional HRBP operating model, drive performance, and ensure consistent, high‑quality partnership across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, coach, train and build a high‑performing regional HRBP team.
• Define and execute strategic and operational direction for the HRBP C&S function.
• Act as subject‑matter expert, translating global HR policies into regional context.
• Facilitate two‑way communication between HRBP C&S and functional HRBPs on priorities, trends and risks.
• Partner with functional HRBP leaders to clarify roles, decision rights and escalation paths.
• Manage workload fluctuations, ensuring coverage and engagement during peak periods.
• Coach HRBPs to balance enterprise consistency with line‑of‑business needs and regional nuances.
• Promote consistency through team routines, calibration, knowledge sharing and aligned judgment.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in HR business partnering within a centralized operating model.
• Proven ability to lead, develop and inspire senior HR teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across global talent functions.
• Self‑directed, results‑oriented with a track record of operational excellence.
