Director, Senior Counsel – EMEA

About the role

Match Group is looking for a strategic senior lawyer to join the Tinder Legal team as Director, Senior Counsel for the EMEA+ region. You will act as a trusted advisor on high‑visibility marketing, product, and business development initiatives, ensuring they meet legal standards while supporting rapid execution.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal support and strategy for Tinder’s EMEA marketing, communications, and brand campaigns, including social media, influencer, events and promotions.
• Advise on compliance with advertising, consumer protection, intellectual property and clearance requirements across multiple jurisdictions.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts and commercial agreements with partners, vendors and creators.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and regional leadership to translate creative concepts into legally sound initiatives.
• Manage legal risk assessments for brand partnerships, sponsorships and public‑facing projects.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with extensive experience in advertising, marketing or media law.
• Proven track record of handling complex, high‑profile campaigns in the EMEA region.
• Strong commercial acumen and ability to balance business objectives with legal risk.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, fluent in English.
