Dispensing Optician – Portadown

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Dispensing Optician to join our Specsavers store in Portadown. Whether you are newly qualified or have experience, you will help customers choose and fit eyewear, contributing to their visual health and satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide professional advice on eyewear and contact lenses.
• Take accurate eye measurements and dispense spectacles.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and store presentation.
• Ensure compliance with GOC regulations and store policies.

Required profile

• Qualified Dispensing Optician, registered with the General Optical Council (GOC).
• Friendly, passionate and ambitious attitude.
• Willingness to develop skills through training.

Required skills

• Knowledge of optical dispensing procedures.
• Ability to use optical equipment for measurements.
