Dual Site Residence Manager - Student Accommodation

About the role

Yugo, a global student housing management company, is looking for an experienced Dual Site Residence Manager to join its team in two purpose-built student accommodations in Cork. Reporting to the City Manager, the role combines leading the team, driving occupancy and sales, maintaining property standards and handling student complaints. It is a 40-hour-per-week position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and guide the team so the residence runs smoothly
• Follow up sales opportunities and keep the property at capacity through short-term and long-term lets
• Drive sales and marketing activities across all channels
• Keep the property's presentation to a high standard through regular inspections and work with the facilities team
• Handle complaints and deliver excellent customer service to students
• Maintain relationships with local universities and internal and external suppliers
• Run the operational calendar and student lifecycle, from arrival and departure to summer turnaround
• Manage health and safety duties under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974
• Act as responsible person for water hygiene, ensuring compliance with the Yugo Water Hygiene Management Plan, including Legionella risk assessments and remedial actions

Required profile

• Experience supporting the running of a residence in hotels, hospitality or student accommodation
• Experience in a fast-paced, target-driven environment with a strong focus on sales and marketing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build lasting relationships
• Passion for giving students the best possible living experience
