Duty Manager – Food & Beverage Experience

About the role

Villa Rose Hotel & Spa is looking for an experienced Duty Manager with a strong Food & Beverage background to lead operations during assigned shifts. You will ensure seamless service across the hotel, restaurant, bar and banqueting areas while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day hotel operations during your shift.
• Lead and support the Food & Beverage team across restaurant, bar, banqueting and events.
• Maintain high guest service standards and promptly address queries, feedback and complaints.
• Supervise, motivate and develop team members across departments.
• Assist with staff scheduling, training and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and hotel operational procedures.
• Collaborate with departmental managers to guarantee smooth and efficient operations.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a hotel environment.
• Strong Food & Beverage operational background.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Proven problem‑solving skills and calmness under pressure.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hotel property management systems.
