E-commerce Director

About the role

The E-commerce Director will shape and execute the global online strategy for a fast‑growing luxury consumer brand. Based in Ireland, you will lead a cross‑functional team to drive digital growth, profitability and a premium customer experience across all channels.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the global e‑commerce strategy, revenue targets and profitability goals.
• Design and implement customer acquisition, retention and loyalty programmes to boost lifetime value.
• Continuously improve the online experience through personalization, storytelling and omnichannel integration.
• Monitor and act on performance metrics such as conversion rate, CAC, AOV and LTV.
• Lead CRM initiatives, including email and SMS campaigns, segmentation and post‑purchase engagement.
• Manage external agencies and contractors across paid media, content, influencer marketing, SEO and other digital channels.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders to ensure timely, high‑quality delivery and compliance with local regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in a senior e‑commerce leadership role, preferably within luxury or premium consumer brands.
• Proven track record of driving online revenue growth at an international scale.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in performance analytics and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage agencies through KPI‑based frameworks.
