Early Years Educator – Full‑Time (Rathfarnham)

About the role

Kids Inc. is seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join its Rathfarnham centre on a full‑time permanent basis. You will create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children aged 0‑5, supporting their holistic development through play, observation and tailored activities.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver age‑appropriate learning experiences that promote physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth.
• Supervise meals and mealtimes, using them as opportunities for social learning.
• Observe, document and assess each child’s progress, sharing insights with parents and guardians.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment in line with health & safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the team to uphold the centre’s ‘No Screen Time’ policy and overall educational philosophy.

Required profile

• Minimum QQI Level 5 childcare qualification or an equivalent recognised credential.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude, genuine love for children and a flexible, team‑oriented mindset.
• Willingness to undergo Garda vetting and provide a valid police certificate if applicable.

Required skills

• First Aid certification.
• Manual Handling training.
• Food Safety training.
