Early Years Educator – Full‑Time (Rathfarnham)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Early Years Educator to join our Rathfarnham centre on a full‑time permanent basis. You will help create a safe, caring and stimulating environment for children, supporting their holistic development through observation, planning and delivery of engaging activities.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and engaging learning environment.
• Observe, document and respond to children’s interests and developmental needs.
• Plan and deliver age‑appropriate activities that promote physical, social, emotional, language and cognitive growth.
• Supervise meals and use mealtimes as opportunities for social learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians, building trusting relationships.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.

Required profile

• Minimum QQI Level 5 childcare qualification or equivalent approved qualification.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Positive attitude, genuine love for children and ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and willingness to learn.
• Successful Garda Vetting and valid police certificate where applicable.

Required skills

• First Aid certification.
• Manual Handling training.
• Food Safety training.
