Early Years Educator – Quality & Curriculum Mentor

About the role

Maynooth University’s Crèche is seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Educator to act as a Quality and Curriculum Mentor. Working from a modern, purpose‑built facility on the North Campus, you will help raise the standard of pedagogical practice for children of staff and students.

Key responsibilities

• Support high‑quality teaching and learning across the Crèche.
• Strengthen curriculum planning, assessment and reflective practice.
• Develop and maintain pedagogical documentation aligned with Aistear and Siólta frameworks.
• Lead quality‑improvement processes and mentor fellow educators.
• Collaborate closely with the Crèche Manager and the wider Student Services team.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience as an Early Years Educator.
• Strong reflective practice and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of the Aistear and Siólta early years frameworks.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a small, multidisciplinary team.
