Electrical Day Technician – Pharma Site (Dublin)

About the role

The Electrical Day Technician will join the Maintenance and Calibration team at a biopharmaceutical site in Dublin. Working day‑shift, you will execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes to keep utilities, plant and equipment running at optimal reliability while meeting all regulatory and client requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance tasks on all electrical utilities equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults in collaboration with site supervisors, contractors and equipment vendors.
• Complete all required documentation before and after work, including risk assessments, ITPs and updates to maintenance plans.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, statutory and client corporate standards.
• Participate in maintenance shutdowns, audits and continuous improvement activities.
• Support the contract maintenance team and liaise with client engineering and contract managers.

Required profile

• Experience working in an industrial or pharmaceutical environment, preferably on a day‑shift.
• Familiarity with GMP rules, statutory requirements and EHS guidelines.
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple buildings and adapt to shutdown schedules.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with contractors, engineers and internal teams.
