Electrical Facilities Technician – Pharmaceutical Site

About the role

We are seeking an Electrical Facilities Technician to join our team at a pharmaceutical manufacturing site in County Cork. The role involves daily maintenance and troubleshooting of all electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient plant operation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections of electrical systems, emergency lighting, and plant equipment.
• Log and resolve service calls via the facilities help desk, investigating issues and coordinating timely repairs.
• Collaborate with mechanical and multi‑skilled technicians to manage multidisciplinary equipment.
• Oversee subcontractors, ensuring they understand problems and complete work to best‑practice standards.
• Provide energy‑reduction recommendations and support EHS initiatives aimed at zero accidents.
• Maintain accurate records in local maintenance folders and complete administrative tasks as directed by the Facilities Engineer.

Required profile

• Trade qualification with solid experience in an electrical maintenance environment.
• Proven ability to work in a team‑oriented, client‑focused setting.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.
