Electrical Lead/Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Lead/Supervisor to join a well‑established contractor delivering commercial new‑build, fit‑out and maintenance projects across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The role combines hands‑on electrical work with leadership of site teams to ensure projects are completed safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on‑site electrical installation teams, including subcontractors.
• Manage labour, materials and subcontractors to keep projects on programme and within budget.
• Carry out site inspections, quality checks and testing/inspection of electrical systems.
• Conduct toolbox talks, health & safety briefings and ensure compliance with current regulations.
• Liaise with clients, site management, and suppliers to maintain clear communication.
• Maintain project documentation, site records and support reactive maintenance work when required.
• Work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and night shifts, to meet project deadlines.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician with a recognised electrical qualification.
• Strong experience in commercial, retail or fit‑out electrical installations.
• Good organisational and communication abilities.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout NI and ROI.
• SSSTS qualification desirable but not essential.
