Electrical Service Technician – Wind Turbines

About the role

ENERCON is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to join its wind turbine service team in Collooney, Co. Sligo. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing ENERCON wind turbines, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform service, maintenance and repair on ENERCON wind turbines.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in state‑of‑the‑art electrical, electronic and mechanical systems.
• Conduct fault‑finding, produce accurate reports and complete computerized documentation.
• Follow site rules, safety policies and wind turbine safety guidelines at all times.
• Participate in a rotating weekend emergency call‑out service.

Required profile

• Qualified electrician or holder of an Electrical Engineering degree.
• Physically fit and able to pass a Working at Heights medical test.
• Full, clean Irish Category B manual driving licence.
• Valid Safe Pass Card.
• Willingness to be based in Collooney, ideally within 50 minutes of the site.

Required skills

• Electrical, electronic and mechanical system troubleshooting.
• Fault diagnosis and reporting.
• Use of computerized maintenance documentation tools.
