Employee Relations Consultant – 12‑Month Contract (Dublin)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to join our healthcare business on a 12‑month contract. You will provide day‑to‑day guidance on performance, disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, termination and sickness cases, ensuring consistent application of company policies and compliance with Irish employment law.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with People Business Partners, managers and employees on employee‑relations matters.
• Handle performance, disciplinary, grievance, TUPE, termination and sickness cases, following escalation and notification guidelines.
• Conduct research and due‑diligence to mitigate risk and provide analytic insights for regional leadership.
• Manage escalated and complex cases, coach senior leaders, and support workload monitoring.
• Deliver training on ER trends, policy reviews and process improvements.
• Maintain audit responsibilities (ISO, WRC) and implement ServiceNow changes.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Irish employment legislation and HR best practices.
• Proven experience handling employee‑relations issues from entry‑level to senior management.
• Ability to work under pressure, resolve urgent “One Breath” situations and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical, documentation and communication skills.
