Energy & Infrastructure Associate & Senior Associate Lawyer

About the role

We are partnering with leading Irish law firms in Dublin to recruit Associate and Senior Associate lawyers for their Energy & Infrastructure practices. The roles involve advising on high‑profile renewable energy, utility, PPP and infrastructure projects across Ireland and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on energy and infrastructure projects, including renewables, utilities and PPPs.
• Structure and negotiate project finance and structured finance transactions.
• Handle infrastructure M&A, joint ventures, investments and construction contracts.
• Deliver regulatory and advisory work across the energy sector.
• Work on asset classes such as offshore/onshore wind, solar, interconnectors, battery storage, hydrogen and large‑scale infrastructure developments.

Required profile

• 1–6 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in a leading or mid‑tier private practice.
• Background in banking/finance, corporate/M&A or construction law.
• Strong interest or exposure to energy, infrastructure or projects work.
• Technical ability, commercial mindset and ambition to specialise in the sector.

Required skills

• Project finance and structured finance knowledge.
• Infrastructure M&A and joint venture experience.
• Construction and development contract expertise.
• Regulatory advisory experience in the energy sector.
