Engineer 1 – OEM Engineering

About the role

Teleflex is seeking an Engineer 1 to join its OEM Engineering team at the Limerick site. The role provides engineering support for manufacturing, new product development, and technology initiatives, contributing to the delivery of high‑quality medical device solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute engineering tasks within assigned ownership areas.
• Participate in cross‑functional teams and value‑stream initiatives to meet company goals.
• Represent Teleflex in customer interactions, ensuring expectations are managed and met.
• Collaborate with Customer Services, Sales, and value‑stream teams to deliver timely information on quotes, orders, deliveries, and complaints.
• Lead product development, new process development, or process improvement projects with focus on cost, quality, safety, productivity, and sales growth.
• Perform day‑to‑day engineering functions such as process characterisation, Design of Experiments (DOE), production support, validations, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent technical background.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Effective communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for customer visits or project support.
