Enterprise Operations Engineer II

About the role

The Enterprise Operations Engineer II provides L1 application support for Mastercard's digital payment applications. The role involves monitoring alerts, performing health checks, and participating in incident, problem, and change management processes on a 24x7 basis.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor application health using dashboards and respond to alerts following standard operating procedures.
• Create and follow up on problem tickets, generate bi‑weekly and monthly alert reports, and participate in critical alert bridge calls.
• Assign incidents to appropriate support teams, escalate as needed, and communicate events during change windows.
• Perform regular data analysis to assess performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to knowledge management by creating or updating SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Basic understanding of UNIX scripting and batch scheduling.
• Familiarity with SQL/Oracle or other relational databases.
• Knowledge of ITSM best practices and incident/change management processes.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
