Evening Delivery Driver – School Supplies

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Evening Delivery Driver to distribute school supplies to schools across Ireland. The role involves delivering products during night hours, replenishing on‑site boxes with care, and ensuring all deliveries meet our high standards of quality and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Report to the Transport Co‑ordinator and verify order accuracy before departure.
• Maintain temperature and cleaning records for the vehicle.
• Load, unload, inspect, and operate the delivery van safely, reporting any issues.
• Ensure the van is fuelled, serviced, and kept clean inside and out.
• Deliver to schools between approximately 8 pm and 5 am, following routing plans and using handheld devices where required.
• Handle boxes up to 14 kg and replenish on‑site storage with attention to detail.
• Adhere to all road safety laws and company hygiene standards.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or managers.

Required profile

• Full, clean Irish C‑class driver’s licence.
• No criminal convictions; Garda vetting may be required by schools.
• Proven experience driving and delivering goods independently.
• Flexible approach to working hours and routes.
• Ability to lift and handle boxes up to 14 kg.

Required skills

• Knowledge of routing and use of handheld devices (advantageous).
• Familiarity with Irish Eircode system (advantageous).

What we offer

• Full‑time contract (40‑45 hours per week) with continuous payment from September to June.
• Uniforms provided.
• Reduced rate during school holidays and guidance on applying for Jobseekers Payment for July‑August.
